Soon we will be completing the purchase of the property at Summerland and the transfer will take place. My intention is to put the chanote into my girlfriend, Tippawan's name.
I would like to set-up a mortgage loan structure whereas I am loaning the money to her for the purchase. And have the mortgage registered at the land office on the day of transfer. I have a few questions
Do you see any problems with this type of structure?
What would be the costs for arranging this?
Is it also possible to have a Usufruct with me as beneficiary also registered when there is a mortgage?
Given the house and land will be in a Thai name will we be liable for the Tessabaan building tax?
Are there are ape other on-going costs with this type of structure?
