Playing Games with Brands
More than half of U.S. adults age 18 and older play video games, and about
one in five play every day or almost every day. Virtually all teens (97 percent)
play video games. As many as 40 percent of gamers are women. Women
seem to prefer puzzles and collaborative games, whereas men seem more
attracted to competitive or simulation games. Given this explosive popularity,
many advertisers have decided, “if you can’t beat them, join them
