While Shanghai Disneyland's official opening is still months away, the hype just keeps on coming with the announcement earlier today of ticket prices (Drum roll, please)...
During the grand opening period (June 16-30), prices will be set at 499 yuan ($75). However, once those festivities are over, a one-day ticket will cost you only 370 yuan ($56)!
This will make Shanghai Disneyland the most affordable of all of Disney's 12 parks and 6 resorts worldwide, just barely beating out Tokyo Disneyland, priced at 374 yuan, but still much lower than the 539 yuan it takes to get into the smaller Hong Kong Disneyland.
However, you should also know that "peak days" like holidays and weekends will see ticket costs rise back up to 499 yuan. Meanwhile, 25% discounts are available to children (1.4m and below), seniors (65 years old and older) and guests with disabilities. A two-day ticket will get you 5% off.
Ticket go on sale on March 28th. Park opens on June 16th. Mark your calendars!
