As Nuch noted, there will continue to be some discrepancies between debits to credits, due to the nature of the business: declining scale based on drive age at receipt, quarterly price changes, etc. But we definitely do not expect such large discrepancies to be an on-going occurrence. These were largely due to system pricing issues in the RMS to GRS transition, where the decline was not being applied as the "Estimated Credit Price" reflected on the RMAs - or the OACKs, which is what EMC uses to take their debits. The system was applying the full base price, this is what was being reflected on the OACKs & what EMC debited accordingly.
Additionally, the pricing negotiations between STX & EMC did not complete until 3 days after Q1, so some Q4 pricing was reflected on the OACKs.
All the known system issues have since been resolved. It is my hope that all the debits affected by this issue have already processed, but I cannot guarantee that to be the case. OM is aware of the issues and are being conscientious to the decline and the dollar amounts reflected on the OACKs.
I hope this explanation is somewhat helpful in your understanding of the issues.
