The electronic nose technology has been successfully employed for recognition and quality analysis of various food and agro products, viz., wine [2,3], cola [4], meat [5], fish [6], coffee [7], etc. Also, it has successfully established its capability for other applications like medical diagnostics [8] and environment monitoring [9]. In this paper, classification of black tea aroma using electronic nose
has been considered and in this context, the applicability of incremental learning algorithm using radial basis function (RBF) neural network [10] for pattern classification has been demonstrated.
