This thesis is intended to design and create the Massage Chair, in order to relax the entire body from the exhaustion from working or from illness for user.
Use theory DC motor control by microcontroller PIC18F4431. Work on the requirements program with the C language programs control the microcontroller. The Massage chair requires 220Vac/50Hz of electric power. There is the massage heads for press and smash, adjust the massage heads have 4 levels of speed. It possible for move up & down direction, the backrest also can incline as we require. The massage chair can operate in manual mode and automatic mode and we can set working time range 0-15 minutes, with LCD display function of the Massage Chair.
From functional testing, find that The Massage chair can operate in manual mode and automatic mode, can control the speed of the massage heads have all 4 levels of speed was error 5.8 percent average. The massage chair work and stopped by the time set by the time was error 1.6 percent average. Result of applications that good level was 81.4 percent average and the standard deviation is 0.6 percent average.
