The small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the overall economy, due to the fact that they
area source of employment and innovation. In addition, SMEs arethe suppliersfor big manufacturers, service
providers and distributors. Therefore, SMEs are the key factor in managing the economy of a country. Sothe
governments of many countries are committed intodeveloping SMEs, e.g. UK, USA, EU (Ezell, 2012; Bednarzik,
2000). In Thailand, the government has put much effort into developing Thai SMEs. They support them in many
ways: with funds, help with export activities, taxes, production support, and with a database.
