For example, if a ball goes out of ploy it must be retrieved quickly, or the activity must proceed immediately with another ball. Players will rest whenever they get the opportunity, as they would during the course of a match. If simulated activities are allowed to proceed with rest intervals, then there will be on associated reduction in the potential conditioning effect of such practices.
