Another baby dies of starvation due to internationally supported regime siege
#Moadamiyeh, #Damascus province, 04-01-2016: This baby died a few hours ago in Moadamiyeh of starvation due to the ongoing crippling regime siege on the town, with Assad's forces preventing any food or humanitarian aid from entering the town, apparently with the UN's customary full complicity.
This comes the day after Assad's Hezbollah accomplices shot dead a pregnant woman and her young daughter as they attempted to flee the town of Madaya, which is under a similar crippling siege.
As usual with the towns, villages and neighbourhoods besieged - some of them for years - by Assad's forces - there is no Daesh (ISIS) presence in Moadamiyeh or Madaya, with the regime's principal targets - as always - being Syrian civilians.
The regime has inflicted similar starvation sieges across Syria since 2012, with the 'international community's' silent complicity, with the total number of deaths continuing to rise daily.
While this goes on, international media, both mainstream and nominally "alternative", including the BBC, continue to write fawning editorials about the Assad regime and to conduct obsequious interviews with Bashar al-Assad.
