Buyers have high expectations when purchasing branded items on eBay (eg: Nike). Before selling these items, we ask sellers to first establish a history of meeting our buyer’s expectations by providing excellent customer service, receiving positive Feedback, and adhering to eBay’s policies in listing branded goods. You should be able to list other types of non-branded items without running into these limits.
Sellers who list certain items experience these limits at one point or another. Clothing, shoes, jewelry, watches, software and other types of media are items being limited. These limits last for a rolling 30 days. In order to have the limitations removed, you need to have:
- An established, positive selling history as a seer (minimum 25 feedbacks)
- No history of VeRO or Infringement violations
- ID & PayPal Verified
- Registered as a business
We have no appeal process because the reputation needs to be built up by buyers' transaction experience. Every positive feedback and good transaction record will help raise the limit. You should still be able to list most of your items. Please keep in mind that these limits only limit a certain items in certain categories on the site.
Unfortunately, we don't have any more information to share on how or when the selling limits will be applied. So we suggest you to begin listing items, and continue listing until you receive the selling limits message.
