The honeycomb structures that are used currently in
various engineering fields are made of metal and paper [3].
The general requirements for impact resistant textile materials
are of low weight, flexibility and physiological comfort.
Lower-weight protective articles are required to be mobile
and ease to perform [4]. Honeycomb structure has high
commercial benefits because it can provides stronger support
ability than the homogeneous structure in lower costs.
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) [5] has high elasticity
and low compression strain rate; hence, the thermoplastic
polyurethane honeycomb air cushion (TPU-HAC) will
integrate the excellent properties as above.
