Equinox transforms between her night or day forms, acquiring new abilities exclusive to each form.
Each transformation grants temporary statistic bonuses depending on the form:
Night-FormDay-Form
Upon switching to Night-Form, Equinox gains 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 armor and 50 / 75 / 100 / 150 shield capacity bonuses that decrease in effectiveness over 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 seconds.
Armor and shield bonuses are affected by Power Strength.
The increase to shield capacity stacks additively with other increases such as Redirection. This means that the bonus shield value from Metamorphosis is simply added to the frame's total shields, without being modified by other bonuses.
In addition to Metamorphosis, Equinox' Night-Form possesses the following abilities: Rest, Pacify, and Mend.
Switching between forms removes any bonuses granted by the previous form. Only a single set of Metamorphosis buffs can be active at any given time.
While switching between forms, Equinox cannot cast any abilities but can perform all other actions, such as moving and using weapons.
Pacify & Provoke and Mend & Maim auras will be deactivated upon casting Metamorphosis.
The 2 seconds delay between switching Metamorphosis states is not affected by Natural Talent or Power Duration.
During the transformation animation, Equinox momentarily becomes whole with her night and day features merged together, then separates into the opposite form.

Equinox hypnotizes a target within 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 meters and enemies in a 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 meters radius around the target into deep sleep or into a frenzied state for 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 seconds.
Cast range and effect radius are affected by Power Range.
Duration is affected by Power Duration.
The ability triggers as long as a valid target is within the effect radius. It is not required to aim directly on a target with the crosshair.
Equinox utilizes different versions of the ability depending on the current form:

Night Equinox forces the target and enemies nearby to sleep. Affected enemies will automatically wake up when ability duration expires or their health reaches 80% / 70% / 60% / 50% of their current health.
Sleeping enemies are open to melee finisher attack prompts (default E).
Sleeping enemies are visually tethered to the ground by energy threads.
Sleeping enemies do not recover from stagger, knockdown, and ragdoll effects until they wake.
Enemies retain their current alertness state when Rest is cast, i.e. unaware enemies put to sleep will remain unaware for the duration of the ability, while alerted enemies will remain alert.
Rest and Rage's sleep and enrage effects can overlap on targets already affected by either version of the ability.
Recasting on the same target will not refresh sleep or enrage effects, however unaffected enemies can be acquired within the effect radius.
Energy threads will visibly strike enemies in the effect radius from the target location to indicate affected targets.

Activation and channeling energy costs are affected by Power Efficiency.
Energy Siphon is deactivated while Mend & Maim is channeled.
