A set of six experiments were carried out to analyze the robustness of the RFID prototype.
Table 2 summarizes the particular characteristics of each experiment. The first column shows the name of the experiment.
The second column indicates the linear velocity of the extreme part of the robot when entering the risky area. The
velocities are 250, 500 and 1600 mm/s.
The third column shows the number of tags attached to the wristband (1 or 2), on the extreme part of the robot. Finally, the last column shows any additional or special characteristics of the experiment, such as the use of a metallic bar attached to the hand or the use of a setup consisting of two tags forming a 45 angle with respect to the plane formed by the antenna, which is shown to have the worst system performance (experiment 5).
