A few free throws by Joe Johnson tied up the Nets and the Cavaliers, 88-88, with 15 seconds left in the game on Saturday night. The Cavaliers called a timeout, and whatever was said worked. Or perhaps it wouldn’t have mattered what was said because LeBron is LeBron. He drove through the key off a screen and leapt off one foot for a floating hook shot. There’s been lots of talk about Steph Curry being the greatest in the NBA today, which is warranted, but hey, this 30-year-old guy playing in Cleveland is still pretty good, too. The Cavs (12-4) won 90-88. James finished with 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Kevin Love also had a very nice game with 26 points of his own, as well as seven rebounds.
