As talked earlier, please make sure container deposit waiver is in place from this 4th VTE shipment onward and it will be best if you can manage to get waiver for shipment to site as well. FYI, balance of container deposit is now more than 500k THB for your shipments and the refund is expected to be next month.
There is a case of shipment 002/15 from Durban which had been delivered to VTE in the beginning of March that MSC Bangkok delayed to release D/O to us by about a week. As informed by MSC, shipper didn’t settle freight and THC charges as agreed. Consequently, there is a detention fee which MSC Bangkok will deduct from container deposit refund amount. I am sending you a separated email on this issue. Would appreciate if you can check with Durban side to prevent such delay for future shipments.
