Survey instrument and knowledge examination
Once registered, the clinicians were asked to complete a
brief online pre-training usage survey, which included
questions on barriers to implementation and knowledge
translation. A pilot pre-training survey included openended
qualitative questions regarding barriers to TTM
application, from which a ranking survey was developed to
assess individual perceived barriers to implementation. Six
months after training, clinicians completed a brief online
survey designed to evaluate implementation and confidence
in applying the therapy. Survey questions included
Likert Scale queries as well as open-ended and multiplechoice
questions.
In addition to this survey instrument, an 8-question
knowledge-based examination was administered to participants
before the TTM educational intervention. Questions
were designed to cover aspects of post-arrest care management,
side effects, and treatment (see electronic supplement
Table E1). Upon completion of the program, participants
were asked to complete the same 8 questions to assess
knowledge acquisition.
