The majority of sample was male about 70.05 % (n= 100), marital status was married 55% (n= 98), education was under grade sixth 65.92% (n= 89) and income was lower 5000 Baht 59.92% (n= 80). For the predictive factors for adaptation level of colostomy patients, age, education, patients’ knowledge and social support were statistically significant with levels of patient adaptation (p≤ .05, r2= .61). Low income patients, younger patient, and less-educated patient could not adapt themselves to live well with stoma. Male patient can adapt themselves more than female patients. Patients with high levels of social support can adapt well to stay with colostomy care. Also, colostomy patients who had high scores of knowledge about stoma care could stay well with colostomy tube.
