The single sampling plans are widely used in the inspection of the products than the double sampling and sequential sampling as its operation is very simple and decision about the submitted product is made on the basis of information obtained
from the single sample. Govindaraju and Ganesalingam [2] proposed a sampling inspection scheme for resubmitted lots,
which is also easy to implement and quite different from the single acceptance sampling plan. There are some practical situations where the producer may discard the first sample results and take the same number units for inspection under the
provision of contract. For example, in many countries including India the amount of the tax paid on the assessment of
the first sample and if the producer does not agree with results of first inspection then the second result is obtained using
the same sample size as in the first inspection. Similar applications of the re-inspection of the lots can be found in food
