The results of fitting the equilibrium constants and reaction
enthalpies are given in Table 4. Regression of the ten parameters
against this dataset gave an AARD% of 14.9%, compared to
an AARD% of 30.5% when using the mean of the published values.
The regressed equilibrium constants and reaction enthalpies are in
good agreement with published values with the exception of dicarbamate
protonation. No data has been published for the enthalpy
of this reaction and the determined equilibrium constant (IgK0
8 ) is
one logarithmic unit larger than the published value at 298.15 K.
This is likely due to little protonated dicarbamate actually forming
resulting in poorly defined parameters for this reaction.
