By using bare glassy carbon electrodes, an electroanalytical
approach is proposed and clearly exemplified for DA
determination. The electro-generated nucleophilic addition
reactions between o-DQ and ABSA resulted in a welldefined
reduction response, which can be used as a voltammetric
detection signal for DA. Excellent analytical features,
including high sensitivity, low detection limit and
satisfactory dynamic range, are achieved, using flow-injection
amperometry with a series dual-electrode system.
