Those findings
suggest that not only fruits and vegetables possess antithromboticactivity, but also some peptides could have the antithrombotic activity
(Barbouche and others 1996; Kong and others 2009). Shen
and others (2010) obtained an intriguing observation that ACF
II, as protein, was not only able to block the amplification of the
coagulation cascade, but also able to induce a hypotensive effect
in rats. Those studies are available to delineate unknown mechanisms
and serve as a model for developing antithrombotic agents.
In this context, we plan to continue our research to investigate
the mechanism of antithrombotic activity of the peptide RVPSL
in the further research.
