On behalf of our faculty, coaches, and staff at IMG Academy, I am pleased to offer you admission for second semester of the 2015-2016 academic year; which begins on Monday, January 18, 2016. You soon will join an elite group of student-athletes from around the world, all of whom are dedicated in working to realize their true potential.
After careful review of your academic record, you are being offered admission to IMG Academy on academic probation. You will be required to earn a minimum grade of “C” (or 70%) in each class by the end of your first semester in order to continue enrollment at IMG Academy.
As is customary, this offer of admission is contingent upon satisfactory completion of any coursework now in progress and the receipt of year-end school reports. For students already in high school, your grade placement at IMG Academy—and number of credits – will be confirmed only after a final, official transcript from each high school of attendance is received. At this moment, your [tentative] grade placement is into grade: 10. After enrollment is complete, a tentative class schedule will be created for you if we have received the most recent grade report from your current school.
Within five business days, you will receive a separate email from our Enrollment Coordinator. The email will outline the next steps in the enrollment process and will include the Tuition Enrollment Agreement (TEA), which will provide a breakdown of all tuition, deposits and fees for 2015-2016.
For International Students:
All non-native English speakers (for grades 6 – 10) will be tested for English proficiency. Those without adequate proficiency will be placed into the English as a Second Language (ESL) Program.
The higher-level of the ESL Program does award academic credit for high school; there will be an additional charge for this program.
The lower-level of the ESL Program does not award academic credit for high school.
For non-native speakers of English, a minimum TOEFL score of 71 is required for enrollment into grade 12; a score of 60 is required for enrollment into grade 11.
On behalf of our entire IMG Academy family, I extend both a warm welcome and best wishes for your success. I am confident that you will make a valuable contribution to the tradition of excellence in academics, sport and service at IMG Academy!
Sincerely,
Sabra S. Pacheco,
Director of Admissions
