Additionally, in order to find a novel calcium supplement to resolve the calcium deficiency and expand the understanding of the mechanism of calcium uptake in Caco-2 cells by DPs. The effect of DPs on calcium uptake in Caco-2 monolayers was investigated in the presence of dietary factors. And the influence and association of phytic acid and DPs on the apparent absorption of calcium and other three minerals, and the calcium status variables in mice were also studied.
