piglets in intestinal lumen, which increased the proliferation
rate of intestinal epithelial cells [28].
Many studies have demonstrated that supplementation
with live yeast or polysaccharides from its cell walls may
improve disease resistance and enhance performance
through immunostimulation and maintenance of a favorable
intestinal environment of animals [3, 9, 29, 30].
