TPM is a common element to lean drive as it is a tool to reduce and remove the variation to decrease the frequency of equipments‟ failures, another tools and lean systems that need a stable working system such as Just-in-Time (JIT) and TQM can be applied, so that TPM is the corner stone activity for most of the lean manufacturing philosophies and can effectively contributes towards success of lean manufacturing (Ahuja & Khamba, 2008), and this relationship is shown in Figure 1
