A. Create a GSX Help escalation and select the Issue Type Part Return Issue.
B. In the "Repair Notes" field, provide the Dispatch/Notification ID and indicate that it is an iOS device vented/leaking battery return.

Attachment: Photo of vented/leaking battery. Include a photo of the back cover to clearly show the IMEI.
For iPhone 4/4s units that cannot be opened, only a photo of the vented/leaking battery is required.
Issue description: This is a unit with vented/leaking battery, please close the RMA for KBB return.
1) In the escalation, upload the photo of the iOS device with the battery that is vented/leaking together with the visible IMEI/Serial number from the rear casing.
2) After ACS makes the changes in the system, ACS will reply to the email with the required action for service provider.
3) Proceed to dispose of the iOS device with vented/leaking battery in accordance with the country’s local regulations.
