red skin color and the arils are tender, with deep violet–red color,
delicious sour–sweet, and the skin is of medium thickness making
the fruit well adapted for both fresh consumption as well as
processing for whole arils or juice. It is of vital importace to prolong
commercial storage of the pomegranates at least until late March,
when prices are the highest in European and domestic markets.
