wood species, resin type (mole ratio of formaldehyde to
urea) and the degree of condensation, the moisture
content of the glue-coated wood particles before pressing,
the type and amount of hardener, the type and amount of
additives (formaldehyde scavenger), press conditions
(pressing time and temperature), and conditioning. In
addition, the postproduction treatment, which influences the formaldehyde release potential, can also be given by
ammonia gas treatment
