The U.S. State Department works with the International Republican Institute (IRI) to administer the Seeds for the Future grants. Since 1983, IRI has been working with civil society, political parties, government officials, and concerned citizens around the world to encourage the development of strong, transparent, and responsive democracies. IRI recognizes the significant role young leaders play in shaping strong communities, especially in Southeast Asia, and values the opportunity to work with youth in the region on their Seeds for the Future projects. Once you submit your application, someone from IRI’s YSEALI team in Washington D.C. may be in touch with you to request additional information. If your project is selected to receive funding, IRI’s YSEALI team will work with you to complete the granting process and will provide guidance and technical support as you carry out your activities.
