CONCLUSIONS
In this research, we designed lens system for light
emitting diode (LED) by using the
geometrical optics and non-imaging optics methods, we
were able to calculate lens surfaces and structures. We
applied lens array to manipulate the light direction and
effectively increase rays distribution. however there was
more light scattering in the lens array than the single lens.
Light simulation showed that applying the lens array can
give the efficiency of light distribution suited for potential
applications in desk lamps, street lamps and vehicle lamps.
