The structure of the MWCNTs was studied by means of a
transmission electron microscope JEOL JEM 1400 with an accelerating
voltage of 120 kV. The samples investigated were prepared by
ultrasonic dispersion in ethanol followed by particle sedimentation
from the upper part of stable suspensions on a substrate. Also,
scanning electron microscopy was carried out by means of a Tescan
Vega 3 microscope.
Raman spectroscopy measurements were carried out using
Thermo DXR Raman microscope with 532 nm excitation laser set to
9mWoutput power in a spectral range of 50e4000 cm1. Exposure
time was set using OMNIC 8 function ‘auto exposure’.
Specific surface area measurements were carried out using
Quantachrome Nova 1200e analyzer by means of low temperature
nitrogen absorption.
