7-2 Activity
For the 7-2 activity, I gave students a problem with four example explanations
(Responses). Students were to read the responses and rank which ones were better and explain why. I scaffolded their response by giving them different questions to help them (Appendix 3). For the responses, I chose to do four different ones in hope that students would think about the difference in responses and what makes a good response, better response, and worse response.I hoped that by giving them examples, students might be able to create explanations themselves.
7-2 is a slightly more challenging task than 6-5 activity.
