Automatic backwash
A probe detects the filtration membrane clogging and send a signal to the automatic control system to proceed with a backwash. Backwash cycle is fully programmable by the user corresponding to the application request. A minimum pressure of 40 PSI is required for this operation.
Using cold water backwash most of the time and if necessary with periodic programmable hot water (80o C.) cycles to remove biological fouling that would eventually clog the screens.
For high precision settings, a push button is now allowing to simulate a cold water backwash.
The Aquamerik drum filter operates with a low energy consumption and requires only 4-7 GPM (15-26 LPM) -depending on size- periodic backwash water flow.
Model selection
Filters are available in three models with drum diameters of 18, 27 and 36 inches. Each model is made from non corrosive materials, ideal for salt water applications.
Those filters design brings you the possibility to select different configurations for the inlet and outlet piping.
