1. Embassies of Colombia are not authorized to certify traslations.
2. Considering that the Kingdom of Thailand is not part of the Hague Convention, documents coming from foreign authorities must be legalized in order to have effects into Thailand.
In this case, any document coming from a Colombian authority/office intented to have effects in Thailand, it must complete the following legalization chain.
Process
1. Legalize the document before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia. You may request the legalization at the Legalization Office in Bogota (Av. Carrera 19 N° 98-03 Edificio Torre 100 Piso 6) or ask for a online legalization at http://www.cancilleria.gov.co/en/procedures_services/apostille_legalization/request_apostille_legalizationhttp://www.cancilleria.gov.co/en/procedures_services/apostille_legalization/request_apostille_legalization
2. Take the document to the Thai consulate in Bogota in order to Legalize the signature of the Legalization authority at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombia.
