Spiritual values-based model
A model of how spiritual values are proposed to affect an organization is
shown in Figure 1. This figure is based on an integration of the literature on
spirituality in business with two models ± Anderson's (1997) values-based
management model, which focuses on the impact of values on top management
strategy, and Schuler and Jackson's (1987) strategic human resource
management framework, which focuses more on the implementation of
organizational strategy. The combination of these frameworks provides an
integrated approach for analysis of spirituality in organizations.
