Fig. 1 shows the development of creep strain as a
function of age at loading for tests where the applied load
was 45% of tensile strength at the respective ages. The tests
were run long enough to establish early-age trends. None of
the tests caused failure of the concrete. The test at age of
3 days was truncated prematurely due to a lab power failure,
but even the shortened test was found useful.
