observed while all FPH samples showed an increase in the fraction of peptides withMWlower
than 200 Da.
The highest percentage of peptides with MW>400 Da in the FPH_4 hydrolysate indicates
the presence of non-hydrolyzed peptides which is in accordance with the higher protein
recovery achieved (Fig. 3) in the preparation of this hydrolysate. On the other hand, FPH_1
and FPH_2 had similar percentages of both peptide fractions and also identical percentages of
protein recovery.
