Samples (1 mL) of crude enzyme from apple pomace
(C0 = 1.984) and mosambi peel (C0 = 2.767) were treated
with 20-120 mg of activated charcoal powder (purchased
from Hi Media, India) and kept at room temperature
(30 °C) for 15 min. Crude -amylase (1 mL) from A. oryzae
fermented wheat bran (C0 = 2.799) was treated with
20-320 mg of activated charcoal for 30 min.
