A Semi-quantitative Food Frequency questionnaire (SFFQ) was
used to assess dietary intake of participants. Subjects were asked to
report the average frequency consumption of foods “during three
months before”, that is first mid pregnancy, as well as additional
questions about supplements during this period. The SFFQ consisted
of 148 items food with standard serving size, which was validated in the
Tehran lipid and glucose study, and was used to assess dietary intake of
Tehranian adults [20]. The nutritionist III software which was modified
