In order to face one of the most challenging clinical
scenarios, instead of using planktonic bacteria we used biofilm
forming S. aureus strains (ATCC 6538 and 9213) to evaluate
the biocidal activity of the films. One of those strains
(9213) is also antibiotic resistant when forming biofilm. The
