The last NRC meeting for the crucial vote was chaired by council president Thienchay Kiranandana. The voting begin at about 10.35am with the presence of 246 of the 247 members. Those present for voting included 21 members of CDC led by Uwanno. In the voting process, members are called up by their names alphabetically to declare verbally to "approve" the draft constitution A vote of at least 124 NRC members is required to pass the draft constitution. Before attending the meeting, the NRC members gathered in front of parliament for a group photo.
