Students should be informed about these topics one week before Speaking Test 2 to allow them to prepare for all 6 topics.
On the day of the test (Friday –Week 6) – the student will enter the classroom and student will randomly select a topic card from a desk.
The student will have 1 minute to silently prepare their talk.
Student will go to the teacher’s desk. The teacher will greet them and start the test by reading the first question/sentence of the topic card.
S will deliver a 1-minute monologue about the topic.
If S gives a good delivery, the teacher won’t ask any questions.
T may ask questions to help the student if the performance is below standards and T wishes to give the student an opportunity to improve.
