I hope that you are well and not too over worked. It's good that you had a light day. You are still very young and need to work for a long time. I retired because there wasn't much work when I reached 62. Hard for old guys to find jobs. I grew up in California though it isn't my birth home. I was born in Columbus, Ohio. My entire family is from St. Louis, Missouri. But my mom went to visit her sister and I popped out. I will try to explain how the US is at some later time because it is complicated. My mom died when I was 7 and my dad eventually married a woman much younger than him. We moved to California when I was 14 so I say that I grew up there. It was a wonderful place. Disneyland, beaches, mountains and Hollywood! I used to go to a favorite place called Hermosa Beach when I got a little older and there is a long pier there where I could catch a lot of fish. Near the pier entrance are many shops and restaurants. There is a famous nightclub called the Lighthouse where famous jazz musicians would play. Do you like jazz? Have you ever heard any? Maybe I'll introduce you to some light mellow jazz songs. On Sundays, we would go fishing in the morning, shower, then go to the club for a free open jam session and often the greats would show up. What incredible times we had. I love to go to concerts but most of the people I like to see are old now and may not tour any more. I would really like to see some pictures of your children. Tell me all about them. I bet you are an awesome mom. I wish that I could have had kids when I was younger. Teaching your son to catch a ball, reading a story to your little girl. Sounds nice. Anyway, this is way too much to read so here are a couple of videos of some jazz songs. I hope you like them.
