Thank you for your reply.
As the previous agent advised, we only remove Feedback in a few, very limited cases. After the necessary investigations had been carried out, unfortunately, we won't remove the Feedback you've received because it doesn't meet the criteria for removal.
However, feedback revision allows a seller to ask a buyer to change the Feedback they left--for example if they left negative or neutral Feedback by mistake, or if the seller has resolved a transaction problem to the buyer's satisfaction. If the buyer agrees, they can change their Feedback rating, comment, and detailed seller ratings (DSRs).
Feedback revision is only available in cases where the buyer has left negative or neutral Feedback.
Here's how it works:
1. Once the issue is resolved, the seller asks the buyer to change their Feedback. They must do this within 30 days of receiving it.
2. The buyer receives a notice from eBay, informing them of the request.
3. The buyer then has 10 days to respond to the request. After this time the Feedback cannot be revised.
The buyer can respond in 3 ways:
-- Revise the Feedback (change the rating, comment, or DSRs)
-- Decline the Feedback revision request (the Feedback is not changed)
-- Ignore the Feedback revision request (the Feedback is not changed)
If the buyer revises the Feedback, they can leave a neutral or negative rating as it is or revise it upward; they can't change a neutral Feedback to a negative. Detailed seller ratings may be
adjusted freely.
You can send up to 5 Feedback revision requests per year (if you earn more than 1,000 Feedback ratings per year, you can send more). This limit is intended to reward sellers who offer a great
service, limit opportunities for buyers to extort sellers, and at the same time prevent sellers from harassing buyers.
