The findings of this study show that each activity of
reverse logistics affects the costs of returns in different ways;
thus, the scope of the activity could increase or decrease on
the basis of the decisions taken for each activity. Thus,
during the moment of the increase of product returns,
proper decisions on the activities of reverse logistics are
crucial to the reduction of costs. Implications that are
related to the balance proper activities of reverse logistics
are revealed to be the ones that concentrate the resources
of the firm on the activities of reverse logistics that are used
by the organisation. This is especially linked to special
information technologies and also the right balance of
reverse logistics locations and operation centres.
