Fortunately, the location of the business takes advantage of the South Island's domestic and international tourist trade. Tourists traveling by car or tour bus usually go from Christchurch or Dunedin to the popular resort cities of Te Anau and Queenstown, and many of those using State Highway 1 stop for a meal and some shopping at Peggydale.
