Forrester’s study yielded the following key findings with respect to media buyers and sellers:
• Media Buyers:
o RTB is here to stay, and the buying community is largely embracing it.
o The model is not without its challenges today, hampering further buyer adoption and investment.
• Media Sellers:
o Despite rapid buyer adoption of RTB, many publishers remain ambivalent about RTB . . .
o . . . but even so, participating publishers are currently seeing success.
o Publishers can realize untapped RTB potential by refining their strategies.
