2nd Step: HPLC Analysis
• Setting up the suitable conditions for determination of caffeine. Record the chromatography conditions, i.e. type of column, mobile phase, detector, eluent flow rate, etc.
• Inject 20 L of filtered caffeine standards and tea samples into the injection port.
• Obtain peak area data and determine the concentration of caffeine in the samples.
• Print out the chromatograms of the solutions.
