You will have to rotate it to match the direction of the First Person Controller. In Unity, since Y is up,Z is considered to be pointing “forward.”
7. Select the First Person Controller and use Align View to Selected.
8. Select the Proxy Weapon and use Align With View.
9. Move the Proxy Weapon up and forward until you can see it in the scene (Figure 11-9).
