Show attention
The Sales Associate should present you several items and explain their characteristics. Make sure you get at least one proposal to react to.
Take your time, show curiosity regarding the items, their features, history, etc. so you are credible as a client ready to purchase. Do not shorten the conversation. The consultation should last at least 30 minutes.
Try at least one item on
Select at least - A suit or a jacket recommended by the Sales Associate to try on. It is important to try on the chosen item a the fitting room, as you will have to assess its cleanliness.
Comment on price
- If Sales Associate does not justify the price on his own, you must raise an objection about the price and check the reaction and the arguments provided by the Sales Associate.
-Ask for a discount and memorize the Sales Associate’s reaction.
Purchase an Item
After the consultation, please select an item that you will purchase. Feel free to select your preferred one, as you will keep it. In case you do not have a preferred item, please see some examples of products you can purchase within the maximum consumption amount: a bow tie; a cologne; a set of body/hair wash; a perfume etc. We will reimburse you the amount of your purchase up to 140.00. Check your fees invoice for more details.
Make sure you get and keep the receipt.
During the consultation, you will probably be asked if you are already an Ermenegildo Zegna customer. If you are a new customer, you will be suggested to fill a customer address card with your personal data. Please fill in the form. If you are already an Ermenegildo Zegna customer, please check if the cashier asks to confirm or update your data in the system.
End of the visit and getting written proof
Before leaving the store,
- if the Sales Associate did not offer you a business card, please ask for one.
- please make sure to ask for a catalogue to take home.
You will have to upload a copy of thepurchase receipt as well as of the business card in your report.
TIP! You can request it saying you would like to be attended by that same Sales Associate in the future.
Once out of the store, we recommend you have a break far from the store where no Sales Associate can see you and take time to take notes of specific details you might forget easily, such as the number of Sales Associate when you arrived, time measurements, specific data provided by Sales Associate during the consultation, etc.
